The concept of The Patch Warehouse was born in 2021 when a friend of mine moved to Finland, where iron-on and sew-on patches are still a huge trend especially amongst university students, who try to fill up their overall-uniforms with as many patches as possible. We came up with the idea of hexagon-shaped (hexapatch) patches, which can be infinitely tiled so long the format is the same across every design. Since then, we started a trends amongst the hacker community as well: others have been preparing their own patches within hackerspaces in accordance to our sizes and format, so they can be tiled together with my designs. I prepared special edition patches for MCH2022; as well as patches for sponsors for the event and special patches for parking and wastecollection angels who played a very important role during the event.
